Huntersville Off-Highway Motorcycle Trails
Fun and flowing single track trails
The Twin Cities Trail Riders are proud to provide you with 77 miles of Off-Highway Motorcycle (OHM) trails in the Huntersville State Forest. There are roughly 59 miles of OHM only single-track trail twisting through the forest. The remaining trails are made up of some rustic two-track and service road loops for beginning riders. All trails are marked and range from easy to more difficult.
We maintain these trails as part of a grant-in-aid agreement between the Township of Huntersville, the MN DNR and the Twin Cities Trail Riders.
Trails are currently OPEN
The OHM trails at Huntersville are currently Open. It is always a good idea to check the DNR trail closures page before heading up to ride.

Come up and enjoy the flowing single track through the woods. There is something for everyone, beginners to advanced riders.
New Trails!
The club has been working on getting new trails added to the Huntersville State Forest.

2022 was a good year, the new loop in the northeast was completed, adding 6- miles of single track.

A new bridge and another mile or so of single track was added in the southeast.

We have around 5-miles of additional trail flagged and waiting be to cut in. Even more to come after this as well.

All of this is on top of the miles of new trail in the last few years.
Where is Huntersville
The Huntersville OHM trails are located in the Huntersville State Forest. There are two trailheads maintained by the club, one on the east side and one on the west side of the forest.
