TCTR UP of Michigan Ride 2023

A number of club members are headed to the UP of Michigan to ride single track over Memorial Day weekend.

The plan is to travel after work on Thursday to the Porterfield OHM trails.  We will ride Porterfield on Friday and possibly Saturday.  Then we will move on to the Bass Lake trails.  If we only ride Porterfield one day, then we may ride another system, such as Sandtown on Sunday.  Traveling back home on Monday.  Locations are TENTATIVE at this time.  If the new connector trail is in/done between Porterfield and Bass Lake, we may extend here.

We will be dry camping at the trail systems.

You will need to get Michigan ORV stickers for your bike(s).  You need two stickers, the base ORV sticker and then the add on Trail sticker.  You can purchase these at pretty much any gas station once you get into Michigan.

The trails up here are kind of a combination of the Paul Bunyan and Huntersville trails.  They remind us of the Bunyan trails when they had dirt on them.
